Clockgauge for remote teams

One Host in the office, everyone else wherever they are.

Short answer

Clockgauge suits small remote teams: staff connect from home with a company name and a one-time code, start a timer on an assigned project and task, and the manager sees live status and reports on the Host. No VPN, no per-user fee and the data stays on the Host computer.

What a remote team gets

  • A live view of who is working and on what.
  • Reports by person, client, project or day.
  • Optional screenshots with consent, and activity counts without keystroke content.
  • Offline tolerance: if someone's connection drops, nothing is lost.

Getting started

Follow the work-from-home setup and write a short policy; see the template outline.

Caveat

The Host computer must be on while people work. The dashboard is on the Host, so managers look at it there.

A pilot plan

Start with two people for a week, review what the reports tell you, then add the rest of the team. Share the first reports with them so the data feels like theirs too.

Questions people ask

How many remote staff can I have?

The free plan covers one employee. The paid plan covers 20 people, or 100 with the larger yearly plan.

Try Clockgauge

Clockgauge is an employee and freelancer time tracker that runs on your own computer: timers, consented random screenshots, activity levels, clients, projects and tasks, budgets, payroll balances and reports, paid once instead of per user per month..
