List on Marketplace without retyping

Choose the cars. The extension does the typing.

Short answer

With Basic, you queue vehicles in Dealer Garage and a Chrome extension fills in the Facebook Marketplace vehicle listing for each, including photos, from your own logged-in Facebook account. A queue shows what is waiting, posted or failed, with retry and cancel. Chrome must be open and the extension running while it works.

How it works

  1. Install the Dealer Garage Chrome extension and sign in to Facebook in Chrome.
  2. In Dealer Garage, add vehicles to the Marketplace queue.
  3. The extension opens the Marketplace vehicle form and fills in the details and photos from your record.
  4. Watch progress in the queue, where you can retry or cancel a post.

What it fills in

  • Year, make, model, trim and mileage.
  • Transmission, drivetrain, fuel type and colour.
  • Price and a description built from the vehicle's fields and features.
  • Location, formatted from your dealership details.
  • Photos from the vehicle record.

What it does not do

  • It posts from your own account; there is no shared or hidden login.
  • It does not guarantee a listing will be accepted; Facebook's rules and checks apply.
  • It needs Chrome open with the extension running, and Dealer Garage running on the office computer.

Good practice

Follow Meta's commerce policies for vehicle listings and keep photos and prices accurate. See Marketplace listing tips.

A posting session

  1. In the morning, add the week's new arrivals to the queue.
  2. Open Chrome, make sure you are signed in to Facebook and the Dealer Garage extension shows it is connected.
  3. Watch the queue: each vehicle moves from waiting to posted, or to failed with a reason.
  4. Retry any failure after fixing the cause, such as a missing photo.
  5. Check one listing on Facebook to confirm it looks right.

If something fails

  • Open the extension and the queue; both show the last check-in.
  • Make sure Chrome is open and Dealer Garage is running.
  • Check that the vehicle has photos and the required fields filled in.
  • If Facebook shows a challenge or warning, complete it yourself in the browser.
